Job Purpose
To analyze and improve the performance of automotive dealership sales operations by delivering data-driven insights, forecasting trends, and supporting strategic decision-making.
The role also incorporates project management responsibilities , ensuring that business improvement initiatives, process enhancements, and cross-functional projects are effectively planned, executed, and delivered to maximize revenue, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Performance Analysis
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance across new and used vehicles against targets.
- Analyze sales trends across models, branches, and customer segments.
- Track conversion rates, enquiry sources, and lead aging to optimize the sales funnel.
- Identify performance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
Forecasting & Market Insights
- Develop sales forecasts and demand plans using historical data and market intelligence.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking and market analysis to support pricing and promotional strategies.
- Identify emerging trends and provide forward-looking business insights.
CRM & Lead Management
- Analyze CRM data, including lead response times, follow-up effectiveness, and pipeline progression.
- Identify inefficiencies in lead handling and recommend process improvements.
- Support optimization of digital campaigns and lead generation performance.
Inventory & Vehicle Allocation Analysis
- Monitor stock levels by model, variant, color, and location to improve inventory turnover.
- Support vehicle allocation and inter-branch transfer strategies based on demand patterns.
- Identify stock aging risks and recommend corrective measures.
Sales Process Optimization
- Map and evaluate the end-to-end vehicle sales journey to identify bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with sales teams to streamline workflows, approvals, and customer touchpoints.
- Drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
Project Management & Execution
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional projects related to sales performance improvement, process optimization, and business transformation.
- Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables aligned with business objectives.
- Track project progress, manage risks/issues, and ensure timely delivery.
- Facilitate project meetings, stakeholder updates, and escalation management.
- Ensure initiatives are executed in line with strategic priorities and measurable outcomes.
Reporting & Dashboards
- Develop and maintain dynamic dashboards for Sales Managers and leadership.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports with actionable insights.
- Provide executive-level summaries and presentations for decision-making.
Customer Behavior & Retention
- Analyze customer purchase behavior, repeat sales, trade-ins, and segmentation trends.
- Support development of loyalty programs and retention strategies.
- Provide insights to enhance customer lifecycle management and engagement.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Marketing, IT, and Operations teams to align analytics with business needs.
- Act as a key liaison between data, business functions, and leadership.
- Support strategic initiatives such as dealership expansion, network optimization, and new model launches.
Governance & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across systems and reports.
- Establish standardized reporting frameworks and processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across sales operations and performance management.
Required Qualifications & Experience
