Odoo Technical Consultant (Finance & Accounting)

Job Summary

Euclidz Technologies is seeking an experienced Odoo Technical Consultant with strong expertise in Finance and Accounting to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Odoo solutions with a deep understanding of financial workflows, accounting standards, and business processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules with a focus on accounting and financial processes.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the Odoo framework.

- Implement and configure Odoo Accounting modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Invoicing, Budgeting, and Financial Reporting.

- Integrate Odoo with third-party financial systems, payment gateways, and banking APIs.

- Optimize system performance and ensure data accuracy across financial transactions.

- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and system enhancements.

- Collaborate with functional consultants and stakeholders to ensure alignment with business needs.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.

- 4+ years of experience in Odoo development (preferably Odoo v13+).

- Strong proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, XML, and Odoo ORM.

- Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and financial processes.

- Experience working with Odoo Accounting modules and financial customizations.

- Knowledge of API integrations, web services, and external system connectivity.

- Familiarity with version control tools (Git) and deployment processes.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in multi-company, multi-currency environments.

- Exposure to financial reporting tools and business intelligence integration.

- Odoo certification is a plus.

- Prior experience in ERP implementation projects in finance-heavy industries.
