Job Description – Delivery Unit Head (Digital Foundation Services) Role: Delivery Unit Head / Portfolio Director Designation: Associate Director Band: E6.1 Location: Stuttgart, Germany Company: HCLTech Germany Department: Digital Foundation Services (DFS) Role Overview The Delivery Unit Head is a senior delivery leadership role responsible for driving end-to-end IT service delivery and operations across multiple strategic client accounts in Germany and Europe. The role ensures strong alignment with business objectives, adherence to service commitments, and achievement of financial targets, while maintaining executive-level client relationships, particularly with German-speaking stakeholders, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities 1. Delivery Management & Governance Own and lead end-to-end service delivery across assigned accounts or industry verticals. Establish and drive governance frameworks aligned with HCLTech delivery standards and client expectations in the German market. Ensure all contractual commitments, SLAs, and KPIs are consistently met or exceeded. Proactively identify delivery, operational, and compliance risks and implement mitigation plans. 2. Customer Engagement & Stakeholder Management Act as the senior point of contact for CXO / VP / Director-level client stakeholders. Build and nurture long-term strategic relationships with German and European customers. Partner with account and sales teams to support account growth, renewals, and governance forums. 3. People Leadership & Team Management Lead large, multi-location delivery teams across Germany, nearshore, and offshore locations. Drive a high-performance culture with strong focus on capability development, employee engagement, and leadership maturity. Mentor and coach delivery leaders, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, compliance standards, and cultural expectations. 4. P&L Ownership & Financial Management Own and manage the financial performance of a €30M–€70M portfolio. Drive revenue growth, profitability, and margin improvement initiatives. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cost optimization, and financial governance across delivery units. 5. Transformation, Transition & Innovation Lead and govern transition programs from initiation through steady state (BAU). Drive transformation initiatives focused on automation, cloud adoption, service modernization, and operational excellence. Champion continuous improvement, innovation, and adoption of industry best practices. Qualifications & Experience 18+ years of experience in IT service delivery and operations leadership. 2. Oversee Delivery Governance At The Engagement Level By Reviewing And Validating All Technical Solutions, Ensuring They Meet Project Requirements And Organizational Standards.

3. Drive Business Transformation Initiatives By Actively Participating In Rfp/Rfi Processes, Conducting Due Diligence, Providing Pre-Sales Support, And Overseeing Proof Of Concepts (Poc) To Evaluate Potential Solutions.

4. Mentor And Guide Technical Architects, Fostering Knowledge Sharing And Continuous Learning To Enhance Team Capabilities And Support Professional Development.
