ELV Technician – Job Description

Position: ELV Technician
Location: UAE
Experience Required: 0-2 Years

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled ELV Technician to install, configure, test, troubleshoot, and maintain ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems including CCTV, Access Control, Video Intercom, Structured Cabling, Gate Barriers, and other security systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, test, and commission ELV systems including:
• CCTV Systems
• Access Control Systems
• Video Intercom Systems
• Gate Barrier Systems
• Structured Cabling Systems
• SMATV and Audio-Visual Systems
• Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance of ELV systems.
• Read and interpret ELV drawings, layouts, and wiring diagrams.
• Configure and program CCTV, access control, and intercom systems.
• Conduct site surveys and inspections as required.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and project teams for smooth project execution.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance reports, and commissioning documents.
• Ensure all installations comply with SIRA regulations, project specifications, and safety standards.
• Attend customer complaints and resolve technical issues within the agreed timeframe.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company assets in good condition. (Bayt.com)

Requirements

• Diploma or ITI in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.
