Description

About Enzo

At Enzo, we are building intelligent systems to prevent water damage before it happens. Our technology combines IoT sensor data, AI-based anomaly detection, and expert human investigation to identify potential leaks in buildings early.

We work with insurers, property managers, and homeowners to reduce water damage, prevent unnecessary waste, and improve building safety. As our systems scale, human judgment remains critical: AI can detect patterns, but careful investigation is needed to interpret them correctly.

That is where you come in.

About the Role

As an internal Water Leakage Consultant, you will investigate potential water leakage events detected by our AI systems. Your work will involve analyzing sensor data, reviewing graphs, following structured investigation processes, and making careful decisions about whether an anomaly is likely to represent a real leak or another type of water usage pattern.

This is a data-heavy role, but it does not require deep machine learning or water engineering expertise. We will train you in our data, tools, and investigation processes. The most important qualities are strong analytical thinking, consistency, attention to detail, and responsible decision-making.

You will learn by doing: training happens through real investigations, supported by our internal processes, examples, and feedback loops.

Tasks

Key Responsibilities

  • Waterflow Investigation: Review AI-generated alerts and investigate whether they indicate a potential water leak, unusual usage pattern, or false alarm.

  • Data Interpretation: Analyze graphs, sensor data, and system outputs to understand water usage behavior across different buildings and edge cases.

  • Structured Decision-Making: Follow Enzo’s investigation process carefully and consistently to reach well-reasoned conclusions.

  • Edge Case Handling: Develop the ability to recognize many different water usage patterns, exceptions, and ambiguous cases over time.

  • AI Feedback: Provide structured feedback to improve our AI detection system, including labeling cases, documenting patterns, and identifying recurring false positives or missed signals.

  • Documentation: Record investigation outcomes clearly and accurately so that decisions can be reviewed, audited, and used for further system improvement.

  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with our Data & AI engineers, software, and operations teams to refine investigation workflows and improve detection quality.

  • Customer-Related Clarification: When needed, support the team in clarifying incidents with customers or partners to confirm whether a suspected leak was real.

Requirements

Who You Are

You are careful, analytical, and methodical. You enjoy working with data, patterns, and structured processes. You do not jump to conclusions quickly; instead, you look at the evidence, consider edge cases, and make responsible decisions.

You are likely a strong fit if you are:

  • Analytical: You are comfortable interpreting graphs, patterns, and quantitative information. You do not need to be a data scientist, but you should be able to reason clearly from data.

  • Detail-Oriented: You notice small differences in patterns and understand that small details can change the conclusion of an investigation.

  • Consistent: You are able to apply the same process reliably across many cases, even when the work is repetitive or complex.

  • Responsible: You understand that your decisions matter. A missed leak or unnecessary alarm can have real consequences, so you take care in your work.

  • Methodical: You like following structured processes and improving your judgment through repeated practice.

  • Intelligent and Curious: You can hold multiple pieces of information in mind, learn new systems quickly, and build intuition for complex edge
