Electrical Draftsman

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Draftsman to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing electrical shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings for building construction projects. The candidate should have experience in MEP drafting and be proficient in AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings.
• Develop layouts for lighting, power, fire alarm, low-current, and earthing systems.
• Review consultant drawings and specifications to produce construction-ready drawings.
• Coordinate with MEP engineers, architects, structural engineers, and site teams.
• Incorporate consultant comments and site changes into drawings.
• Prepare single-line diagrams (SLDs), panel schedules, and cable routing drawings.
• Assist in quantity take-offs and material scheduling.
• Maintain drawing registers and revision records.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and UAE authority requirements.
• Support project teams with technical drafting and coordination activities.

Requirements

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Electrical Draftsman in the UAE construction industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MEP drafting.
• Knowledge of electrical systems for commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects.
• Familiarity with UAE authority standards and regulations.
• Strong coordination, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, G+1 buildings and villa projects.
• Knowledge of MEP coordination

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
