Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Charge Hand to support site operations and assist the Foreman and Site Engineer in the execution of construction activities. The successful candidate will supervise workers, coordinate daily tasks, ensure safety compliance, and help maintain project schedules and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of site workers and subcontractors.
• Assist the Foreman and Site Engineer in planning and executing site works.
• Allocate manpower, tools, and materials efficiently.
• Monitor work progress and report updates to site management.
• Ensure all work is carried out according to drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Inspect completed work and identify any corrective actions required.
• Maintain site records and assist with reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma or technical qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Charge Hand, Site Supervisor, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, tools, and safety practices.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
• Good leadership and team management skills.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage (if applicable).
