Cyber Security Analyst

The Role

• Plan, execute, coordinate, and track vulnerability and patch management
• Analyze, evaluate, and prioritize security alerts, optimizing detection use cases
• Detect, analyze, and address cyber security incidents, including incident response and technical forensics
• Conduct vulnerability, threat, and risk analyses based on internal findings and external threat intelligence
• Support the technical hardening of systems, networks, and cloud environments through secure configurations
• Evaluate security requirements for new IT projects and architectural changes, considering regulatory provisions

What You'll Need

• Completed degree in Computer Science, IT/Cyber Security, Business Informatics, or comparable qualification with relevant professional experience
• Several years of practical experience in cyber/IT security, ideally in a critical infrastructure (KRITIS) or regulated environment
• Profound knowledge of vulnerability and patch management, as well as handling security alerts and incidents
• Experience in incident response, security incident analysis, and technical forensics
• Proficient with common security technologies (e.g., SIEM, EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, Vulnerability Scanner)
• Solid understanding of network, system, and cloud architectures, including secure configuration and hardening
