Mechanical Supervisor / Senior Mechanical Foreman

(HVAC • Plumbing • Fire Fighting)1. Technical Expertise

• Strong hands-on knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, ducting, chilled water piping, testing & commissioning.
• Solid experience in Plumbing systems—water supply, drainage, pumps, piping layouts, and fixture installation.
• Proven capability in Fire Fighting systems—FM200, sprinklers, hydrants, pumps, and compliance with civil defense requirements.
• Ability to read, interpret, and execute MEP drawings, method statements, and technical specifications.

2. Site Supervision Skills

• Supervises daily site activities ensuring work is executed as per approved drawings and project standards.
• Coordinates manpower, materials, and equipment to meet project timelines.
• Ensures proper installation practices and resolves site-level technical issues promptly.
• Conducts toolbox talks and ensures safe working practices.

3. Quality & Compliance

• Ensures all works comply with local authority regulations (Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, etc.).
• Performs inspections, prepares snag lists, and ensures closure of quality issues.
• Verifies materials and installations meet project specifications and QA/QC requirements.

4. Coordination & Communication

• Coordinates with engineers, subcontractors, and other trades to avoid conflicts and ensure smooth workflow.
• Reports daily progress, challenges, and resource needs to the Project Engineer/Manager.
• Communicates effectively with workers and ensures clear task allocation.

5. Leadership & Workforce Management

• Leads teams of technicians, pipe fitters, duct fitters, and helpers.
• Trains and mentors junior staff to improve productivity and workmanship.
• Maintains discipline, attendance, and performance standards on site.

6. Problem Solving & Decision Making

• Identifies site issues early and proposes practical, cost-effective solutions.
• Handles unexpected technical challenges with minimal disruption to progress.

7. Experience Requirements

• Minimum 7–12 years of experience in MEP contracting.
• Strong background in HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting installations.
• UAE/GCC experience highly preferred due to local authority procedures and site practices.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
