Our team develops and maintains software solutions in collaboration with international service providers to support business operations in the area of individual Life and Health reinsurance risks within the Hannover Re Group worldwide.You can look forward to

• In an international software development team, you use your experience in cloud-native development to effectively deploy suitable Azure components
• You further develop existing applications together with the team and ensure that they reliably support our business processes
• You connect development and operations, work closely with Cloud Engineers and support deployment, monitoring and the stable operation of productive systems. In doing so, you use modern technologies such as AI agents for coding You come equipped with
• Completed degree in (Business) Informatics, Mathematics, Natural Sciences or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience as a Software or Cloud Engineer
• Practical experience with Azure cloud services
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, for example with Terraform, as well as a good understanding of operations, security, networking and monitoring in the cloud
• Good knowledge of requirements engineering as well as experience with agile working methods such as Scrum or Kanban
• German at a business fluent level and English at a conversational level
• Good communication skills as well as enjoyment of working in an international environment
