K&K Social Resources & Development GmbH is an international recruiting agency that has been providing technical resources in the European region since 1993. This position is with one of our clients in the Germany which is actively hiring candidates to expand its teams.

Role: Oracle Database Security & Control Specialist

Employment Type: Full-time Permanent

Location: Frankfurt, Germany

Key Responsibilities:

  • Security Onboarding & Product Integration.
  • Security Control Evidencing & Audit Readiness.
  • Database Security Engineering (Oracle Focus).
  • Management & Delivery.

Security & Compliance Expertise:

  • Proven experience in security engineering, security architecture, or security compliance roles.
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Hands-on experience with regulatory and compliance requirements such as SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA.

Experience with security controls including:

  • Identity & Access Management (IAM).
  • Data encryption.
  • Network security.
  • Vulnerability management.
  • SIEM solutions.

Database Engineering (Oracle‑centric):

  • Extensive experience in Oracle database installation, configuration, administration, and security hardening.
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle security capabilities such as TDE, auditing, and access controls.
  • Experience with database patching, upgrades, and performance tuning from a security perspective.
  • Exposure to other database technologies (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, NoSQL) is an advantage.

Delivery & Project Management:

  • Strong experience managing and implementing security controls end-to-end.
  • Familiarity with delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
  • Hands-on experience using tools such as JIRA, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple parallel initiatives.

Communication & Collaboration:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to translate complex security concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration experience.
  • Analytical, proactive, self‑motivated, and capable of working independently or within a team.
  • Fluent in English and German language proficiency is good to have.

Desired:

  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, Oracle Certified Professional (Security), or similar are highly desirable.
