Senior Data Engineer

We are working with a leading provider of digital solutions and professional services, empowering businesses and individuals with innovative software, content, and training.

The Role

• Design and implement robust, cloud-native Snowflake solutions.
• Drive architectural decisions and act as a technical counterpart to Data Architects.
• Focus on Snowflake platform engineering, including account setup and performance optimization.
• Implement cloud integration and data pipelines using ELT tools and AWS S3/Stages.
• Establish governance policies for data quality, tagging, and data contracts.
• Enable self-service analytics through engineering patterns and data products.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on cloud data architectures.
• Excellent German and fluent English communication skills (C1 level).
• Expertise in Snowflake-AWS integration, including architecture, RBAC, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in data ingestion platforms like Fivetran, Stitch, and Snowpipe.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills, including dbt, dimensional modeling, and Data Vault.
• Programming proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
• Experience with DataOps principles, Analytics Engineering, Data Mesh, and Self-Service concepts.
