Senior Data Engineer

The Role

• Develop and enhance a scalable and secure data platform for current and future data analytics applications
• Design, implement, and operate robust modules for data-driven services
• Automate platform administration, including user and authorization management
• Evaluate and introduce modern database solutions, tools, and frameworks
• Ensure compliance, security, and stability standards
• Operate, maintain, and develop data pipelines
• Actively participate in agile processes and serve as a communication interface between technical and business departments

What You'll Need

• Strong DevOps expertise (Git, CI/CD Pipelines, Orchestration, Monitoring, Docker)
• Proven experience in creating and managing the lifecycle of data models
• Experience with cloud compute infrastructures and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., AWS, AWS-CDK)
• Proficiency in SQL, TypeScript, and Python
• Understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum) and cross-organizational collaboration
• Strong communication skills in German (C1 or higher), for both conceptual discussions and interaction with non-technical stakeholders
