As a Sales coordinator, you would be responsible for ensuring that sales operations run smoothly while helping to boost revenue and customer satisfaction. This role typically involves coordinating customer orders, handling inventory, assisting with marketing efforts, and ensuring excellent customer service. As a Digital Marketing Coordinator, you would be responsible for managing and executing digital marketing campaigns, optimizing online presence, and increasing brand awareness through various digital channels.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Order Management:
- Take customer orders, both in-person and online, ensuring that all details are accurate.
- Manage custom cake orders, including taking special requests and communicating with bakers on specific requirements (e.g., flavors, designs, dietary preferences).
- Ensure timely delivery or pickup of cakes, maintaining communication with customers regarding order status.
2. Sales & Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting with cake selections, offering recommendations, and addressing customer inquiries.
- Upsell products such as cakes, cupcakes, pastries, and other baked goods.
- Ensure that customer complaints or issues are handled efficiently and professionally.
3. Inventory Management:
- Track inventory levels of ingredients, decorations, and packaging supplies.
- Place orders for necessary materials and ensure the shop never runs low on key ingredients.
- Ensure that the display case is stocked with fresh products and properly organized.
4. Sales Reporting & Data Management:
- Monitor sales trends and report on sales performance to shop owners or managers.
- Assist with the implementation of promotional campaigns and analyze their effectiveness.
- Maintain a database of regular customers, manage loyalty programs, and assist with customer follow-ups.
5. Campaign Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns across various platforms, including social media, email, paid search, SEO, and display ads.
6. Social Media Management:
- Create engaging content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Monitor social media accounts, engage with followers, and respond to comments or messages.
- Track social media performance metrics and adjust strategies for optimal engagement.
7. Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
- Optimize website content for search engines to increase organic traffic.
- Conduct keyword research and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve website rankings.
- Monitor SEO performance and create reports to measure improvements.
8. Paid Media and SEM:
- Manage paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.), including budgeting, targeting, and performance tracking.
- Optimize campaigns for maximum ROI, adjusting bids, keywords, and targeting as necessary.
9. Content Creation and Marketing:
- Collaborate with content creators to develop blog posts, articles, videos, and other multimedia content that resonates with the target audience.
- Create email newsletters and automated email sequences to nurture leads and engage customers.
- Ensure that all content aligns with brand guidelines and messaging.
10. Analytics and Reporting:
- Use tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and email marketing platforms to track campaign performance.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as website traffic, conversion rates, engagement, and ROI.
- Provide regular reports to stakeholders on campaign performance and suggest improvements.
