Your mission
You create experiences that people remember. You plan, coordinate, and execute our events from our own formats to the Program Team’s presence at international conferences. You make sure everything runs smoothly, showcases Impossible Founders and our programs in the best possible way, and strengthens our community, brand, and ecosystem.
Planning & organization of our Program-related events
- Take ownership of Impossible Founders' Program-related events (e.g. workshops and networking events for startup founders, site visits to corporate partners, pitch competitions), which help us educate, inspire, and mentor talented entrepreneurs and their startups
- Plan events end-to-end: concept, location scouting, logistics, guest management, and on-site coordination
- Work closely with service providers (catering, tech, design, video, decoration) and keep all moving parts under control
Preparation & presence at trade fairs & conferences
- Plan our program team participation at national and international conferences (booth, tickets, agenda, team coordination)
- Coordinate with partners, sponsors, and organizers to make sure we’re always in the right rooms
- Spot communication opportunities such as panels, side events, and meetings and coordinate with the Brand & Communications team
- Take the lead on documentation and follow-ups to turn events into lasting relationships and leads as well as supporting good storytelling within the Brand & Communications team
Event communication & stakeholder management
- Build close connections with the Program Team as well as the Brand & Communications Team by attending both team meetings, and ensuring that we remain continuously coordinated
- Work hand in hand with the Event Manager in the Brand & Communications Team to align on company standards, share best practices, and ensure consistent event quality
- Coordinate with partners, universities, sponsors, founders, and institutions to create strong, well-attended events
- Ensure that every event supports our branding, communication, and positioning goals, in alignment with the Brand & Communications Team
- Work hand in hand with content marketing on social media, newsletter, and PR activities before, during, and after events
Collaboration with service providers
- Coordinate experienced event partners for planning, design, technology, and production
- Prepare clear, sharp briefings that help everyone deliver their best work
- Keep an eye on timelines and quality so everything runs smoothly and looks professional
Follow-up & reporting
- Measure the success of each event (visitors, leads, feedback, reach, learnings) and share insights with the team
- Take care of documentation and budget reconciliation
Your profile
You don’t need decades of experience to make a real difference. If you love organizing events, enjoy keeping many threads in your hands without losing your calm, and want to help build something meaningful in the startup ecosystem, you’ll feel at home with us.
What matters most to us
- 0–2 years of experience in event management, project management, or operations
- Very good English (German skills are a plus)
- A structured, proactive, and solution-oriented way of working
- Strong organizational talent and project management skills
- Joy in communicating and coordinating with many different stakeholders (founders, partners, agencies, universities, etc.)
- Resilience and calmness during peak periods – you stay focused and friendly even shortly before the event starts
- Confidence in using Excel/Sheets and common project tools (e.g. Notion, Slack, Trello, Asana, etc.)
Additionally, it would be a plus if you bring
- Experience in a startup, tech, or university environment
- Experience working with event, design, or production agencies
- Basic understanding of communication and brand work (e.g. how events contribute to positioning
