You as part of tonies:
The Advanced Planning System Specialist (Anaplan) is the technical and functional backbone of tonies’ global planning ecosystem. This role serves as the primary System Owner and Architect for the Anaplan platform, ensuring that the Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory, and S&OP modules are perfectly tuned to drive business decisions.
Operating within the Supply Chain Excellence Program Office, you will bridge the gap between complex supply chain requirements and technical configuration. You are responsible for maintaining a "single version of the truth," ensuring data integrity, and continuously evolving the system to support tonies’ rapid global growth. In this role, you will work closely with merchandise planners, demand planners, and other cross-functional planning teams to improve efficiency and accuracy across the entire planning and forecasting space.
Your tasks and responsibilities will include:
1. Planning System Ownership & Governance
- Platform Roadmap & Integrity: Define the long-term Anaplan roadmap and act as the ultimate guardian of model logic (formulas, hierarchies, and versions) in adherence to governance protocols.
- Access & Security: Manage user roles, permissions, and workspace security to protect sensitive commercial and supply chain data.
- Project Management: Simultaneously plan and execute multiple system initiatives, ensuring on-time delivery with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
2. Anaplan Configuration & Expert Support
- Hands-on Configuration: Lead the build, refinement, and scaling of modules, dashboards, and "what-if" scenario modeling, translating complex business needs into technical logic.
- Expert Support & UAT: Act as Level 3 support for global users to troubleshoot complex logic issues, and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for all new features.
3. Master Data & Signal Integrity
- Data Architecture & Protection: Own the planning master data strategy (product hierarchies, lifecycles) and partner with IT to automate data flows, preventing "garbage-in-garbage-out" scenarios.
- Data Consistency: Ensure seamless data alignment between Demand, Supply, and Finance to maintain a unified global plan.
4. Training, Enablement & Adoption
- Training & Documentation: Develop and deliver training programs for global planners and maintain comprehensive "Playbooks" to translate technical steps into business routines.
- Community of Practice: Foster a global user community to promote development best practices and collaborate with other developers across the organization.
5. Innovation & Vendor Management
- Advanced Analytics & Continuous Improvement: Partner with the Forecasting Manager to prototype ML/AI capabilities and proactively replace manual workarounds with automated solutions.
- Vendor Management: Stay abreast of Anaplan product releases and industry trends to advise leadership on new value-adding features.
