Description

Experience in industrial scaffolding works is mandatory.

  • Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme (CISRS) or CISRS Overseas Scaffolder Training Scheme certification for the scaffolding supervisor/inspector.
  • Ability to supervise a team of up to 20 scaffolders or workers, or as required based on the size and complexity of the job.
  • Basic Scaffold Inspector certification for inspection of basic scaffolding structures.
  • Advanced Scaffold Inspector certification for inspection of complex scaffolds, designed scaffolds, suspended scaffolds, special scaffolds or any scaffold outside standard configuration.

Expert with the following:

  • TG20 technical guidance for tube and fitting scaffolds.
  • SG4: Preventing falls in scaffolding operations.
  • SG6: Manual handling in the scaffolding industry.
  • Scaffolding design and load calculation procedure, including the process for identifying when a scaffold requires a specific design by a competent scaffold designer or engineer.
  • Sample scaffolding method statement and risk assessment for erection, modification and dismantling.
  • Scaffolding inspection and tagging procedure.
  • Register of scaffolding materials, including inspection records for tubes, boards, couplers, base plates, ladders and system scaffolding components.
  • Procedure for control of scaffold modification, including how unauthorized modification will be prevented.
  • Emergency and rescue arrangements for scaffolding work at height.
  • Manual handling control measures for scaffolding materials, including arrangements for lifting, lowering, passing materials, storage and prevention of dropped objects.
  • Previous scaffolding work experience in heavy industry, smelter, construction, oil and gas, power plant or similar high-risk industrial facilities.
