Job Description
Abacus IT Solutions is seeking a strategic marketing leader to build and own its marketing function from the ground up. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales & Marketing, this role will define marketing strategy, own the marketing budget, and be accountable for the function's measurable contribution to enterprise sales growth across the UAE and the wider GCC.
This is a strategic and hands-on role, directly responsible for generating high-quality leads for the sales team, driving measurable marketing outcomes, and building a scalable, data-driven marketing engine.
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for:
- Developing and executing an integrated marketing strategy aligned with business goals.
- Owning the end-to-end lead generation strategy and function, with authority to direct campaigns, agencies, and tooling decisions across digital, content, and event channels. Experience of having used the latest technology like AI to drive success including any certification will be preferred.
- Selecting, implementing, and governing the marketing technology stack (CRM, automation) to scale lead capture, nurturing, and pipeline visibility.
- Establishing key marketing metrics and reporting frameworks to demonstrate performance and ROI.
- Collaborating closely with Sales leadership to continuously optimize marketing's contribution to the sales pipeline.
- Building and leading the marketing team as Abacus scales, and acting as the primary marketing voice in leadership and board-level discussions on growth strategy.
The ideal candidate will bring both creativity and analytical rigor to the role and will be accountable for demonstrating the marketing team's tangible impact on business growth.
Growth path: Abacus policy is to extend the title of Head of Marketing once the individual has demonstrated competence and drive in the role.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in science or commerce. MBA is preferred.
- 8–12 years of progressive B2B marketing experience, including at least 3 years in a marketing leadership role (Manager, Head, or equivalent) — ideally within IT / ERP / CRM / SaaS / business consulting.
- Proven track record of designing and executing lead generation programs that deliver measurable results.
- Strong understanding of marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and digital marketing channels.
- Experience in building marketing metrics dashboards and using data to drive decisions.
- Experience in managing marketing budgets and external vendors/agencies.
- Experience of the Microsoft DX ecosystem will be preferred.
