The Role

Are you looking for a unique opportunity to leverage or develop your attraction and campus recruitment expertise? Join our renowned Client from the engineering industry – Rolls-Royce as Events & Campus Coordinator (m/f/d).

In this role you will support the Client with filling their campus / early careers hiring demand by planning and executing local campus attraction strategy, overseeing, designing and running of insight activities, as well as attending various career and networking events.

The role is a hybrid position in Friedrichshafen (onsite 2/3 days per week)

Key Accountabilities

What you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborate with campus recruitment team to create successful attraction strategies, work with relevant parties to correctly identify approach based on market and hiring demands
  • Create and maintain trusted partner relationships with hiring managers and Client stakeholders; support in building relationships with RRPS Germany on attraction and campus perspective
  • Create strong partnerships with all internal and external stakeholders, attending regular calls, to build understanding of process and satisfaction in the service
  • Local attraction execution including event strategy, booking events, attending and coordinating volunteers. Overseeing, designing and running insight activities
  • Managing local attraction budget
  • Coordinate the preparation of job adverts as well as other attraction materials required for campaigns, in cooperation with an external agency. Work to ensure a consistent global approach at job fairs and other events
  • Attending both local and international networking and career events
  • Share and implement knowledge gained from other teams to enhance own recruitment delivery
  • Outline recommended continuous improvement actions and upselling opportunities to Manager – Early Careers & Campus, including quantifying impact
  • Supporting wider onsite campus recruitment team during campaign peaks as required; including supporting CV reviews, ensuring the delivery of high-quality candidate shortlists, and coordinating assessment centres and wider TA work on site.

Skills & Requirements

You’ll need to demonstrate:

  • Knowledge and awareness of various campus marketing and attraction strategies (e.g. events, networking, social media and university relations) and tools. Experience in delivering attractions strategies would be an asset
  • Fluency in German and English language
  • Ability to work autonomously and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across various locations
  • Strong attention to details and proactiveness
  • Experience of working within a highly complex or matrixed organisation – including ability to follow global process, whilst whilst being sensitive to local nuances
  • Demonstrate interest in learning about the broader market, industry to be able to build network and provide great market insights to client and different workstreams
  • Knowledge of using various recruitment technologies and systems would be an asset
  • Willingness and ability to travel and attend various internal and external networking and client events throughout the duration of campaign season
