Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • BIM Modeling: Create accurate 3D MEP models (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Firefighting) from 2D CAD drawings, schematic designs, and project specifications using Autodesk Revit.
  • Clash Detection & Coordination: Run clash detection tests using Navisworks, identify spatial conflicts between MEP services and structural/architectural elements, and resolve them through engineering coordination.
  • Shop Drawings: Extract high-quality 2D shop drawings, builder’s work drawings, section details, and isometric views from the coordinated BIM model for site installation.
  • Quantity Take-Offs (QTO): Generate accurate Material Take-Offs (MTO) and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) directly from the BIM model to support the procurement team.
  • Standard Compliance: Ensure all models and drawings adhere to company BIM standards, project BIM Execution Plans (BEP), and international building codes.
  • As-Built Models: Update BIM models based on site redline markups to deliver precise As-Built models and asset data at project closeout.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum of [3–5] years of experience as an MEP BIM Engineer, specifically working on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Software Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP), Navisworks Manage, and AutoCAD. Familiarity with Dynamo or BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud is a major plus.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of MEP engineering design concepts, installation methodologies, and international standards.
  • Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong spatial awareness, and the ability to collaborate effectively with architects, structural engineers, and site operations.

Pay: AED1.00 per month
