Junior Civil Engineer

Art Plus Design Services is looking for a Junior Civil Engineer to join our project team. The selected candidate will support site supervision, project coordination, inspections, documentation, and daily follow-up activities. The candidate must be willing to work at our Fujairah project site or Dubai office/site as per company and project requirements.

The role includes assisting the Senior Project Engineer in monitoring site works, coordinating with contractors and subcontractors, reviewing drawings, checking materials, preparing daily reports, and supporting meeting agendas and minutes of meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily site supervision and monitoring of construction activities.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and the project team.
• Support inspection coordination and follow up on site work progress.
• Check materials delivered to site and coordinate material approval requirements.
• Review construction drawings and assist in identifying site discrepancies, coordination issues, and required clarifications.
• Prepare daily reports, site progress updates, meeting agendas, minutes of meeting, and related project documentation.
• Follow up with contractors on pending works, comments, inspection requests, and required submissions.
• Support the Senior Project Engineer in technical coordination, site follow-up, documentation, and reporting.
• Assist in ensuring site works are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and authority requirements.
• Coordinate and follow up on project-related requirements with respect to Municipality / authority rules, site procedures, and project instructions.
• Perform any other project-related tasks assigned by the Senior Project Engineer or management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of UAE experience in construction, site supervision, project coordination, or engineering services.
• Familiar with building construction works, site coordination, inspection procedures, and contractor follow-up.
• Basic knowledge of UAE Municipality / authority requirements, site regulations, and approval procedures is preferred.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and site execution procedures.
• Familiar with civil engineering software and documentation tools such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and PDF markup/review tools. Knowledge of MS Project, Primavera, or Revit will be an advantage.
• Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
