Senior Systems Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Develop and lead operations and development teams for high-availability AWS services
• Contribute to the smooth operation of the European Sovereign Cloud (ESC)
• Collaborate with global AWS teams and influence service evolution
• Enhance day-to-day operations and improve system performance, reliability, and efficiency
• Participate in on-call rotations to resolve incidents

What You'll Need

• Experience in scripting languages like Python or Perl
• Systems engineering experience with hardware, software, networking, and operating systems
• Expertise in Linux and networking for advanced diagnostics and issue resolution
• Proven ability to create, revise, and improve standard operational procedures
• Must be a national of an EU member state
• Fluency in written and spoken English
