About the Role

As part of our international growth strategy, we are seeking an accomplished International Sales Manager to drive the expansion of our global distribution network and accelerate sales growth across international markets.

The successful candidate will play a key role in executing the company's international sales strategy by identifying, developing, and managing strategic relationships with importers, distributors, and business partners worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute the company's international sales strategy and achieve agreed sales and revenue targets.
  • Identify, approach, negotiate with, and appoint qualified distributors, agents, and strategic partners in target markets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key importers, wholesalers, distributors, and major commercial accounts.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and conclude distribution agreements in accordance with company policies.
  • Manage and develop the performance of appointed distributors while ensuring achievement of agreed business objectives.
  • Build and maintain a robust international sales pipeline and convert business opportunities into long-term partnerships.
  • Represent the company at international exhibitions, trade fairs, and commercial meetings.
  • Monitor market developments, competitor activities, pricing, and customer feedback, providing regular commercial intelligence to support strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and other internal departments to ensure seamless execution of customer orders.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, activity reports, pipeline updates, and performance reports for the Head of Marketing & Sales.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and international trade requirements.
  • Maintain direct reporting responsibility to the Head of Marketing & Sales through periodic commercial, sales, market, and business development reports, ensuring that all sales activities, distributor management, market expansion initiatives, and commercial decisions are fully aligned with the overall Marketing & Sales strategy established by the department.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in international sales, business development, or export management.
  • Proven experience within the tobacco industry is essential.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully opening new international markets and establishing distribution networks.
  • Extensive experience in B2B sales, distributor management, and international commercial negotiations.
  • Strong knowledge of export procedures and international trade practices.
  • Established network of relationships with importers, distributors, exporters, wholesalers, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Excellent commercial acumen, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and reporting capabilities.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory. Additional languages are considered a strong advantage.
  • Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.
