Your responsibilities

You take over the lead of project execution in our core plant technology EPC-business with project volume up to billions of EUR. The close cooperation and coordination with the business units and functions like project management, all engineering facilities, technical procurement and building sites worldwide is part of your daily business. Your responsibilities extend to the following:

  • Ensure successful (commercial) project execution of large EPC projects in the plant industry according to thyssenkrupp standards and governance – from the call for proposal to end of warranty – by meeting project´s targets regarding budget and time
  • Responsible for commercial activities (e.g. contract-, claim- and risk management, payment securities, VAT/TAX issues, insurance, etc.) in proposal phase and contract execution
  • Managing of Sub Contractors at construction sites – together with Commercial Site Manager
  • Development & Implementation of harmonized processes worldwide to ensure ongoing best-in-class execution of the projects worldwide

Your profile

Professional Experience

  • At least 10 years of professional experience in negotiating and executing international EPC contracts in power-, cement, and/or chemical industry with volumes up to hundreds-of-million as a Commercial Project Director
  • University degree in business administration or industrial engineering (or similar)
