Back End Developer (Python)

The platform is designed with SaaS-first principles and emphasizes high performance, low latency, and scalability. It incorporates semi-ACID properties, multithreading, and verification of data integrity with every operation. MontyGovernance aims to transform and modernize the legacy software ecosystem by delivering a secure and efficient data infrastructure.

Role Description This is a full-time Back End Developer (Python) role based in the Greater Delhi Area, offered in a hybrid model with some flexibility for work from home. The Back End Developer will design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs for the core database platform using Python and related technologies. Responsibilities include implementing scalable architectures, optimizing performance and latency, ensuring data integrity, and integrating backend components with front-end and infrastructure services. The role involves collaborating with product and engineering teams, participating in code reviews, writing tests, and contributing to documentation and technical decision-making.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Back-End Web Development skills, including experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and database integration.
• Candidates should possess solid Software Development and Programming skills, with proficiency in Python and familiarity with development best practices.
• Candidates should possess a strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), including design principles and patterns.
• Candidates should possess basic Front-End Development understanding to collaborate effectively with front-end teams and integrate services.
• Relevant skills and qualifications include experience with performance optimization, multithreaded applications, and secure coding; familiarity with cloud/SaaS environments; knowledge of version control (e.g., Git); and a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
