Site Engineer (Electrical)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Site Electrical Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in the UAE to oversee electrical installation works at construction sites. The candidate will ensure work is executed according to project specifications, safety standards, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day electrical installation activities at the project site.
• Ensure all electrical works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and local regulations.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines.
• Monitor work progress and maintain project schedules.
• Inspect materials received on site and verify compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare daily site reports, progress reports, and inspection requests.
• Attend site meetings and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Maintain proper documentation, including as-built drawings and material records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Site Electrical Engineer (UAE experience preferred).
• Knowledge of electrical systems, LV installations, cable routing, panels, lighting, and power distribution.
• Familiarity with UAE standards and construction practices.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and BOQs.
