ABOUT THE TEAM

The Commercial Analytics team is the analytical powerhouse and investigative engine for the ZMS Commercial organization. We empower our Sales and Media Operations teams to navigate the market successfully by turning complex campaign data into actionable commercial strategies.

We are looking for a Senior Commercial Analyst to act as our foremost expert on campaign performance and Ad-Tech metrics. You will build the analytical methodologies and frameworks that explain our campaign performance across both Managed and Self-Service operative models, and you will act as the vital bridge ensuring that new product features are included downstream in our reporting in order to translate them into measurable commercial success. You will own the analytical narrative in our core Media Steering meetings, translating these complex insights into direct, daily optimization strategies for our Media Operations team.

WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED

  • Owning the Media Steering Analytics: You are the analytical engine behind our regular Media Steering meetings. You provide the deep-dive debriefs on overarching campaign performance, pacing metrics, and ROI targets, ensuring our Media Ops team knows exactly where to adjust the levers.
  • Steering Models & KPI Driver Trees: You don't just report numbers; you build the structural frameworks. You develop comprehensive KPI driver trees and steering models that mathematically and logically explain what drives our campaign performance (e.g., ROAS, CPC, CPM, CPA) to both internal leadership and external partners.
  • Campaign Optimization (Managed & Self-Service): You drive the analytical optimization strategy across both of our operating models. You provide deep-dive insights to our Media Operations team (Managed Service) to improve mid-flight campaigns, and you analyze platform data to identify best practices for partners who execute campaigns themselves (Self-Service) via our ad platform solution.
  • The Product-to-BI Bridge: When Product Management launches new marketplace features or bidding algorithms, you act as the critical liaison. You assess their commercial impact, incorporate them into the media optimization landscape, and—crucially—work hand-in-hand with our BI Analytics team to ensure these new features are accurately captured in our reporting infrastructure and self-service reporting layers.
  • Advanced Ad-Tech Troubleshooting: You are the escalation point for the most complex performance challenges. You leverage your deep understanding of programmatic bidding methods to
