About the team

The Merchant Care Business Operations team sits at the heart of how SumUp supports millions of small businesses every day. We're a data-driven, cross-functional team focused on making Merchant Care run smarter — through process improvement, performance tracking, and operational planning. This role is a real opportunity to get hands-on experience across a broad operational landscape early in your career, working alongside experienced colleagues who'll support your growth from day one.

What you'll do

Monitor and maintain Merchant Care performance dashboards, turning data into clear operational insights

Support and manage small-to-medium projects end-to-end, collaborating with teams across Revenue Operations, Data, and CRM Operations

Identify process inefficiencies and contribute ideas for improvement across operational workflows

Prepare structured reporting and analysis to support decision-making by Merchant Care leadership

Work closely with external business process partners to ensure alignment on operational goals

You'll be great for this role if…

Experience working with data in Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas, reporting, and data manipulation

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to spot trends and translate them into practical recommendations

Comfort managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, knowing when to act independently and when to escalate

Clear and structured communication skills, with the ability to explain operational concepts to non-technical colleagues

Fluency in English, both written and spoken
