As a Senior Technical Architect for SAP SCM, specializing in Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and Transportation Management (TM), you will be a critical member of our global IT team. You will be responsible for the end-to-end architecture, design, development, and implementation of robust and scalable SAP SCM solutions. The goal is to drive innovation, optimize our supply chain processes, and deliver high-quality solutions.
Your Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical design and architecture of SAP EWM and TM solutions, aligning with business requirements and Villeroy & Boch's architectural standards.
- Act as an expert for SAP EWM and TM: provide technical advice and innovative solutions for complex challenges.
- Hands-on development: ABAP programming, enhancements (BADIs, User Exits), custom reports, interfaces (IDocs, RFCs, APIs), and UI technologies (Fiori, Screen Personas).
- Technical reviews, performance optimization, and troubleshooting of SAP SCM systems.
- Creation and maintenance of comprehensive technical documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP SCM innovations and industry trends.
- Support the integration of SAP EWM/TM with other SAP modules (e.g., PP, MM, SD) and external systems.
Your Profile:
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable field..
- Proven track record as a Technical Architect or Senior Developer in multiple full-lifecycle SAP EWM/TM implementations.
- Deep ABAP development skills (ABAP Objects, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits) specifically in the EWM/TM context.
- Sound knowledge of SAP EWM and TM processes.
- Experience with integration technologies such as IDocs, RFCs, Web Services, and CPI.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 development is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking skills.
- Strong leadership personality with experience in mentoring development teams.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); German language skills are a significant advantage.
