Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Engineer to manage procurement activities for civil construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and purchasing construction materials, subcontract packages, and services while ensuring compliance with project specifications, budgets, and schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement processes for civil construction projects from RFQ to purchase order issuance.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors for civil works.
• Review technical specifications, drawings, BOQs, and project requirements.
• Prepare and analyze commercial and technical bid comparisons.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and contract conditions.
• Coordinate with project managers, planning engineers, quantity surveyors, and site teams.
• Monitor procurement schedules to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Develop and maintain supplier databases and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and project requirements.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality and project standards.
• Prepare procurement reports and management updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 8–15 years of procurement experience in civil construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, subcontracting, and procurement procedures.
• Experience in infrastructure, commercial, residential, or industrial construction projects.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and procurement software.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
