About Us

Abdelaziz Art Center is a premier, rapidly growing name in the luxury oriental perfumery and premium oud industry. We specialize in sourcing, manufacturing, and retailing the finest traditional scents, agarwood, and bespoke fragrances. Driven by a commitment to heritage and luxury, we are looking to strengthen our core management team by adding an experienced Finance Manager who can streamline our financial architecture and support our expanding market presence.

Position Overview

As the Finance Manager, you will take full ownership of the financial health of the business. You will bridge the gap between day-to-day bookkeeping and long-term strategic planning. This role requires a hands-on leader who is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves for data entry and bank reconciliations as they are presenting quarterly profitability analysis to executive stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities1. Financial Control & Day-to-Day Operations

  • General Ledger: Oversee all accounting entries, ensuring absolute accuracy in accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general ledger accounts.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor daily cash positions, manage liquidity, and optimize working capital to ensure smooth operations across production and retail.
  • Payroll & Expenses: Process monthly payroll via the Wages Protection System (WPS) and audit employee expense claims and petty cash disbursements.
  • Bank & Inventory Reconciliation: Conduct rigorous monthly bank reconciliations and oversee stock/inventory valuations, ensuring raw materials (oud, oils, packaging) match physical audits.

2. Tax, Compliance & Auditing

  • VAT Compliance: Prepare, verify, and file quarterly UAE VAT returns accurately and on time through the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) portal.
  • Corporate Tax: Ensure the company's financial records align seamlessly with the evolving UAE Corporate Tax regulations.
  • External Audits: Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, preparing year-end closing files, schedules, and necessary documentation.

3. Strategic Reporting & Budgeting

  • Financial Reporting: Design, prepare, and present comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads to formulate annual budgets and provide monthly variance analysis (budget vs. actual).
  • Cost & Margin Analysis: Analyze product margins, manufacturing costs, and retail overheads to provide actionable recommendations for cost-reduction and profit maximization.

Requirements & Candidate ProfileExperience & Education:

  • Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce is mandatory.
  • Professional Qualifications: Progress toward or completion of ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CA is highly preferred.
  • UAE Experience: A minimum of 4 to 6 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity within the UAE.
  • Industry Background: Prior experience in retail, luxury goods, FMCG, or trading/manufacturing setups is heavily favored due to the complex nature of our inventory.

Technical & Soft Skills:

  • Software Proficiency: Advanced, hands-on experience with ERP systems and standard accounting software.
  • Advanced Excel: Master-level Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, financial modeling, and data manipulation).
  • Regulatory Expertise: Thorough, up-to-date knowledge of UAE VAT laws, Corporate Tax, and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Communication: Flawless written and spoken English.

Salary:

  • Monthly Salary: AED 8,000 – AED 10,000

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10
