IT Infrastructure Engineer

Twaddan is a UAE-based on-demand car wash marketplace connecting customers with trusted service providers. We are looking for a hands-on Network & IT Infrastructure Engineer to take ownership of our office, data center, and operational technology infrastructure, including the critical systems that support our 24/7 customer service operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points, and structured cabling.
• Configure, deploy, and manage company laptops, workstations, software installations, and endpoint security solutions.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of IT and telephony systems supporting a 24/7 customer support and call center environment.
• Administer and maintain VoIP/PBX platforms such as 3CX and FreePBX, including SIP trunk configuration and call-routing optimization.
• Manage internet connectivity, VPNs, network segmentation, and redundancy/failover solutions across multiple locations.
• Monitor network and system performance, proactively identify issues, and resolve connectivity or hardware-related incidents.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, access controls, and basic server/cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
• Maintain IT asset inventory and coordinate procurement of hardware, peripherals, and networking equipment.
• Implement and enforce IT security best practices, including patch management, backups, firewall policies, and wireless network security.
• Provide day-to-day IT support and troubleshoot hardware/software issues across departments.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Network Engineering, IT Infrastructure, or related roles.
• Proven experience supporting a 24/7 call center or customer support operation.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls such as FortiGate, SonicWall, or pfSense.
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, routing, and VPN technologies.
• Experience managing VoIP/PBX systems (3CX, FreePBX) and SIP trunking.
• Experience with Windows and macOS endpoint management, deployment, and support.
• Familiarity with AWS and basic server administration.
• Currently based in the UAE.
• Immediate availability is highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or Fortinet NSE.
• Experience with scripting and automation using Bash or PowerShell.
• Experience scaling telephony and IT infrastructure for high-volume customer support operations.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
