For our long-standing business partner AIRBUS we are looking for you as a new employee of Tintschl Technik GmbH in Manching (Germany, on site job)

This position is subject to international regulations on military and aerospace projects, which require specific legal and security authorizations.

Your Responsibilities

  • Capture and translate customer needs into clear system requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Define and drive the technical roadmap together with multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, balancing customer requirements, new features, and technical improvements
  • Support the development of intuitive and high-performance user interfaces using Qt/QML
  • Coordinate system engineering activities throughout the complete project lifecycle
  • Identify and mitigate technical and project risks to ensure successful delivery
  • Ensure high-quality solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and according to scope
  • Collaborate with external suppliers and subcontractors and ensure seamless system integration
  • Monitor project progress and communicate effectively with customers, stakeholders, and engineering teams

Your Profile

  • Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable field
  • 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering within aerospace, defence, or simulation environments
  • Proven experience across the full systems engineering lifecycle
  • Experience managing external suppliers and subcontractors
  • Strong understanding of modern software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD)
  • Familiarity with software technologies such as C++ and Qt/QML
  • Fluent English required; German is considered an advantage

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of military aircraft systems and operational procedures
  • Experience with flight simulation or training systems
  • Understanding of mission planning and military training workflows
