Operations Team Lead (m/f/d)

To support the continued expansion of our Berlin operations, we are looking for multiple Operations Team Leads (m/f/d) to take ownership of daily sorting center activities while leading and developing high-performing teams.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating operational processes, ensuring service quality, safety, and productivity standards, and acting as a key link between frontline employees and management. Your leadership will directly contribute to achieving operational targets and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the daily operations of a sorting center team.
• Ensure smooth execution of inbound, sorting, outbound, and dispatch processes.
• Monitor operational KPIs and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Support workforce planning and shift scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train, coach, and develop team members.
• Collaborate closely with Operations Supervisors, other Team Leaders, and cross-functional departments.
• Manage operational escalations and ensure achievement of operational targets.

Requirements

• Experience in logistics, warehousing, supply chain, transportation, or a related operational environment.
• Previous team leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on mentality with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Experience with KPI management and operational performance analysis.
• Strong communication and team motivation skills.
• English proficiency required.
• German and/or Chinese language skills are considered an advantage.
