Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced *Senior Project Engineer* to oversee and execute major Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects within the Oil & Gas sector. Based in *Ruwais*, you will be responsible for leading multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring adherence to strict safety standards, managing project timelines, and delivering engineering excellence from inception to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

* *Project Execution:* Lead and manage the engineering lifecycle of complex EPC projects in compliance with contract specifications, budget, and timeline.

* *Technical Coordination:* Coordinate across multi-disciplinary engineering teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil) to resolve technical queries (TQs) and ensure design integrity.

* *Vendor & Subcontractor Management:* Oversee EPC contractors and vendors, reviewing technical bids, evaluating progress, and ensuring deliverables meet company quality standards.

* *Site & Construction Support:* Provide technical support to the construction and commissioning teams on-site in Ruwais, ensuring seamless transition from engineering to execution.

* *Risk & Change Management:* Identify project risks early, develop mitigation strategies, and manage change orders effectively to prevent scope creep.

* *HSE Compliance:* Champion a culture of safety, ensuring all engineering designs and site activities strictly adhere to Oil & Gas HSE regulations.

Requirements & Qualifications

* *Education:* Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Civil preferred).

* *Certification:* Active *Project Management Professional (PMP)* certification is mandatory.

* *Experience:* Minimum *15 years* of progressive experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with a proven track record in *EPC project execution*.

* *Location:* Must be willing to be based in/commute to *Ruwais*.

* *Skills:* Strong leadership, deep knowledge of international Oil & Gas codes/standards, excellent negotiation skills, and proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
