About the Role

As a Forward-Deployed Agentic Engineer focused on Solution Building, you are the hands-on expert and rapid implementer for our most strategic customer engagements. You will embed directly with enterprise clients, transforming their complex requirements into working, high-performance agentic automation solutions on the Otera platform. You thrive on quickly understanding needs, designing efficient solutions, and getting your hands dirty with the code. This role demands deep technical proficiency, a passion for problem-solving, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Rapid Development: Design, develop, and deploy bespoke agentic workflows, custom integrations, and platform extensions for strategic enterprise customers using Python and other relevant technologies.
• Technical Implementation: Take ownership of the technical implementation details, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and align with the architectural guidelines provided by FDAE Architects.
• Problem Solving: Dive deep into customer data, systems, and processes to identify automation opportunities and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Customer Collaboration: Work closely with customer development teams, business users, and internal Business Leads to gather requirements, provide technical demos, and ensure effective knowledge transfer.
• Best Practices: Contribute to and evangelize best practices for development, testing, and deployment of agentic solutions on the Otera platform.
• Product Input: Provide direct feedback to Product and Engineering teams based on real-world customer implementation experiences, helping to shape future features and capabilities.
• Proof-of-Concepts: Quickly develop impactful proof-of-concepts to demonstrate the power of Otera's platform to prospective clients.

About You

• An Expert Engineer: 5+ years of hands-on software development experience, with expert-level proficiency in Python and familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Full-Stack Mindset: While the primary focus is backend logic and integrations, you appreciate the full development lifecycle and understand how your solutions impact the overall system.
• Problem Solver: You love a challenge and have a knack for quickly understanding complex systems and crafting elegant, efficient solutions.
