What you'll do

• Design scalable and secure SAP platform solutions across SAP BTP, ECC, S/4HANA, BDC, and SAP Public Cloud solutions, including the SAP integrated toolchain, Signavio, and WalkMe, in alignment with Enterprise and Domain Architecture guidelines
• Actively contribute to architectural board decisions in close collaboration with Enterprise and Domain Architects, while supporting SAP cloud transformation initiatives such as BTP, RISE, Public Cloud, and Azure/IaaS
• Collaborate with product teams, platform teams, Enterprise and Domain Architecture, Security, Technology Services, SAP, and implementation partners to ensure aligned and effective platform architecture decisions, with a primary focus on SAP BTP architecture and governance
• Govern the SAP landscape, infrastructure, connectivity, security, and operational architecture, including the definition of architecture guardrails for SAP BTP covering subaccounts, environments, connectivity, identity, service usage, monitoring, and support models
• Support the definition of SAP platform services and reusable capabilities for product teams, alongside the evaluation of new SAP technologies and cloud-based services

Who you are

• Several years of experience in BTP/ SAP Platform Architecture methods, including architecture principles, reference architectures, capability mapping, platform design patterns, architecture documentation, and decision records
• Hands-on platform engineering experience across SAP platform solutions such as SAP BTP, ECC, S/4HANA, BDC, and SAP Public Cloud solutions, combined with strong knowledge of SAP lifecycle management and operations architecture
• Solid expertise in SAP Security, IAM, authorizations, Segregation of Duties (SoD), Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), as well as SAP Cloud ALM and Solution Manager
• Strong understanding of reliability, scalability, and performance engineering, paired with experience in architecture strategy, platform roadmap planning, governance, standards definition, and risk and dependency management
• Proven stakeholder, partner, and SAP management skills, with strong cross-team alignment, problem-solving capabilities, and a collaborative approach to teamwork
