Data and Reporting Analyst

The Role

• Manage large data sets and generate key performance indicators for reinsurance planning and financial statements.
• Analyze results and optimize existing reporting tools, actively participating in corporate management within a cross-functional team.
• Develop skills to evaluate reinsurance portfolios using mathematical modeling and optimize them for Solvency II, IFRS, and HGB.
• Assume responsibility and decision-making authority early in your role.
• Contribute to the cultural development of the company towards an agile organization.

What You'll Need

• Completed degree in Business Administration, (Business) Mathematics, or a comparable qualification.
• Ideally, knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS, HGB), preferably from insurance companies.
• Strong communication skills, able to present complex information clearly and appropriately, also in English.
• Team player with independent, structured work ethic and a drive for pragmatic solutions.
• Affinity for IT applications and ideally knowledge in programming (SQL or similar tools/languages), understanding the opportunities and limitations of AI tools.
• Critical mindset, open to new ideas, and a willingness to drive change.
• Fluent in both written and spoken German and English.
