Civil Site Engineer

Role Objective

We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Civil Site Engineer to oversee day-to-day field operations. You will be responsible for converting structural drawings into reality, ensuring that site progress stays on schedule, within budget, and meets all safety and quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Execution: Supervise all civil works, including excavation, shoring, piling, reinforcement, and concrete pouring.
• Resource Management: Allocate manpower, machinery, and materials efficiently to meet daily and weekly production targets.
• Setting Out & Surveying: Verify site levels, coordinates, and dimensions against approved shop drawings using surveying instruments.
• Subcontractor Coordination: Manage various trade subcontractors to ensure their work aligns with the master project schedule.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve site-specific design clashes or construction hurdles in coordination with the technical office.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards to ensure a zero-accident site.
• Daily Reporting: Maintain accurate site diaries, progress reports, and labor productivity logs.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Field Knowledge: Deep understanding of concrete technology, formwork systems (Peri/Doka), and rebar detailing.
• Safety: Valid OSHA or IOSH certification is a significant advantage.
• Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD (for quick site measurements/adjustments) and MS Project (for tracking schedules).
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead a team of foremen and a large labor force.
