Senior Systems Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Play a pivotal role in building and leading operations and development teams
• Deliver high-availability AWS services (EC2, S3, Dynamo, Lambda, Bedrock) for EU customers
• Contribute to the smooth operation of the European Sovereign Cloud (ESC)
• Collaborate with global AWS teams and influence the evolution of AWS services
• Ensure improvements in availability, reliability, latency, performance, and efficiency of the ESC
• Participate in on-call rotations to resolve incidents

What You'll Need

• Experience in Python, Perl, or another scripting language
• Systems engineering experience with hardware, software, networking, and operating systems
• Expertise in Linux and networking, with proven diagnostics and resolution skills
• Demonstrated success in root cause analysis, performance optimization, and robust monitoring
• Experience in leading the creation and improvement of standard operational procedures (SOPs)
• Must be a national of an EU member state
