About This Role

Design and deliver complex features and systems across the stack, from data models to UI. Build and evolve scalable full-stack apps using modern technologies.

Responsibilities

  • •Design and deliver complex features and systems across the stack
  • •Build and evolve scalable full-stack apps using TypeScript, Next.js, Express.js, React Native (Expo)
  • •Develop APIs/services primarily using tRPC and craft clean, versioned contracts
  • •Model data in PostgreSQL; design relational schemas, write optimized queries, and review migrations
  • •Raise the bar on engineering quality: code reviews, testing strategy, CI/CD hygiene
  • •Instrument and operate: add observability, track performance, debug production issues, and drive SLO-oriented reliability
  • •Collaborate with design and product to shape roadmaps and sequence milestones
  • •Mentor teammates, give feedback, and improve engineering practices

Requirements

  • •Strong proficiency in TypeScript, tRPC, and PostgreSQL
  • •Deep experience with Next.js (SSR/SSG) and React Native (preferably Expo/EAS)
  • •Solid backend expertise with Express.js (or similar Node.js frameworks)
  • •Working knowledge of AWS
  • •Comfortable designing relational schemas, writing migrations, and optimizing queries
  • •Proven track record owning projects from architecture to implementation to deployment
  • •Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

  • •Experience operating high-scale or high-reliability systems
  • •Familiarity with Better-Auth, Stripe (or other payment APIs)
  • •Exposure to observability stacks (Datadog, Sentry, PostHog) and CI/CD (GitHub Actions)
  • •Background with Prisma, Redis, Neon/Railway, Turborepo/pnpm
  • •Startup experience: mentoring engineers, shaping processes, or scaling systems
  • •Logistics domain familiarity (ELD/IFTA/dispatch)
